Austin serves as the Sunday Evening minister at The Pointe.

W. Austin Ivester was born in Habersham County and has lived all his life in Habersham and Stephens County.  He grew up in the Turnerville Church of God.  He served as pastor of the Turnerville Church for 14 years and Cornelia Church of God for 18 years. 

Prior to pastoring, he worked with the youth and music at the Toccoa Church of God for 9 years.  Austin retired in 2002 and moved back to Toccoa with his wife, Elizabeth.  Austin has been helping with music in several churches for the past seven years and traveling in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Holy Land.
