Worship is man’s response to who God is. The Westminster Catechism states that the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever (Romans 11:36)

We believe that Music Ministry is an integral part of the overall experience here at The Pointe.  Music and singing are largely the tools used to usher us into the very presence of God.  The scripture admonishes us in Psalms 100:2 to “come before His presence with singing.”  For this reason, we view our singers and instrumentalists as worship leaders and not performers. 

Our music team is comprised of volunteers that are committed to God and the music program of this church.  They have a passion for this area of ministry.  Whether you sing, play an instrument, love drama or creative movement, you’ll find many opportunities to use your gifts and abilities here at The Pointe.

While working toward excellence in music, His presence is where it's at! We love to go there!

How can I join the choir?

You may like to sit in on a choir rehearsal as our guest and see if it’s for you. When you are ready to join, call or email Pastor Gary about the specifics of becoming a choir member…it’s that easy!

Rehearsal Times:

Sanctuary Choir:   

    7:45 p.m.             Wednesdays

    9:30 a.m.            Sundays

Praise Teams:

   6:45 p.m.             Wednesdays

Instrumentalists:

   8:30 a.m.             Sundays

   (Thursday rehearsals as scheduled)
