Welcome to all Guests!

Who are we?
The Pointe consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are, be assured that you are warmly welcome at The Pointe.

When to arrive:
If it's your first visit, it's probably best to turn up around 9:45 am.  For directions to reach us please see the Directions page. You'll be greeted on the door by our welcoming team who will give you some information about the church and answer any questions you may have.

Children are always welcome in our sanctuary service.  However, Nursery is offered for children from birth to 5 years.  Caregivers arrive about 10 minutes before service.  Children ages 6-11 are welcome in our Blast Off Kids in the activity center.  Our welcoming team will help you find the right spot for your children when you arrive.

What to wear:
This is easy. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you're not.

What to expect:
For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of a nerve-racking experience. To help avoid any worries here's a quick summary of what you can expect at The Pointe.  First of all, we aren't super-spiritual beings, we all had a 'first day' at church.  You'll find we are a friendly bunch; if you don't understand something, simply ask.

We start our service at 10:00 am with a five-minute countdown.  Then we spend about 50 minutes worshipping. Our worship time consists of modern songs (with guitars, keyboards, and drums) as well as praise team and choir singing.  There is a short, informal connect time added just after praise.  This is a time to speak to neighbors, meet a new friend, or just chat with others.

We then have a talk from the bible that is relevant and meaningful to our modern lives. We finish our meeting around noon. Whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years, we want you to be encouraged and inspired by the morning. We hope that everyone will draw closer to God.

On Sunday evenings, we offer several small groups.  A small group is simply 10-20 people who meet in different areas in our church or community and who have common interests.  Small groups are a great way to get to know others in the church and to be real with each other about everyday living.  For a current list of small group offerings, please visit our What We Do page.  If you would prefer a more traditional service, one is held in our sanctuary for adults, a student service is held in our activity center for tweens and teens, and a children’s service is held in our activity center for children ages 6-11.  Nursery is provided for all services.

What we believe:
We are a Christian church and believe that all can have relationship with God. We believe this relationship with God is possible because of Jesus (God's only son) who invites us to follow him. We have friendly relationships with other local churches from both traditional and modern backgrounds. If you are interested in exploring the Christian faith, then please come along on a Sunday or contact the office (See bottom of page) to ask for more information.

Is it just Sundays?
Absolutely not! God is with us all week long and we aim to lead lives pleasing to him. We're not perfect, and we do make mistakes, but we desire to make a positive difference in everything we do. To further encourage us, we have a midweek service, bible studies for teens, and clubs for boys and girls.  Nursery is also provided on Wednesdays.  On Tuesdays, we host a Hispanic service in our activity center.

For disabled people:
We aim to be an all-inclusive church. However our resources are limited, so we try to provide for our current attendees. If you wish to discuss specific needs please contact the church office. Our premises are wheelchair accessible, and we have reserved parking spaces at the entrance which provide space for transfer.  There is a fully wheelchair accessible toilet.
